| Function | FUNCTION: Sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) as sulfonate donor to catalyze the sulfate conjugation. Sulfonates p-nitrophenol, a small phenolic compond. Does not sulfonate steroids, dopamine, acetaminophen, or alpha-naphthol (PubMed:9852044, PubMed:10783263, PubMed:10481272).
