Form | Liquid or Lyophilization |
Buffer | The default storage buffer is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 5%-50% glycerol if the delivery form is liquid. The lyophilization buffer is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0 if the delivery form is lyophilized powder. Please contact us if you have any special requirment. |
Reconstitution | Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water and we recommend that briefly centrifuge thevial prior to opening the vial .We recommend aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. |
Background
Relevance | Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as modulators or transducers in various transmbrane signaling systs. G(k) is the stimulatory G protein of receptor-regulated K+ channels. The active GTP-bound form prevents the association of RGS14 with centrosomes and is required for the translocation of RGS14 from the cytoplasm to the plasma mbrane. May play a role in cell division. |
Involvement in Disease | Auriculocondylar syndrome 1 (ARCND1) |
Subcellular Location | Cytoplasm, Cell membrane, Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome, Membrane, Lipid-anchor |
Protein Families | G-alpha family, G(i/o/t/z) subfamily |
