| Backround | mCherry mRNA (N1-Me-Pseudo UTP) enables red fluorescent protein (mCherry) expression in transfected cells. Derived from DsRed (Discosoma), mCherry is a monomeric fluorophore (587 nm/610 nm excitation/emission). Its photostability makes it ideal for molecular labeling and localization studies. This mRNA serves as a transfection positive control and aids delivery system and expression platform validation. |
